    Serenity Net Tent question

I've really enjoyed my Gatewood Cape. It's become my go to shelter for most trips. I'm interested in getting the Serenity Net Tent now that bug season is fast approaching. I have a question though. Unless the weather looks threatening, I usually pitch my Gatewood higher then normal, using a longer pole than recommended. I only pitch it tight to the ground when I know it's going to storm or it's windy.

If I pitch my cape using a pole length of approximately 130 - 135 cm, will the net tent still work under it? If the top of the net tent uses a grommet to attach to the pole, could an 'extender' be fashioned to allow for a higher than normal pole?

    Re: Serenity Net Tent question

It should be pretty easy to setup your Serenity to work with your Gatewood, regardless of what height you set the cape. The new Gatewood harness have a small D-Ring that is used to attach a glove hook that's at the peak of the Serenity. If the Gatewood is setup up high enough so that the Serenity does lay correctly, you can simply add a little loop of cord to make the adjustment.

By the way the Serenity's are in stock and we're shipping out all the back orders today.
